Required Textbooks for the Predoctoral Program

Students accepted into our Pre-doctoral program may self-select the format for their required textbooks. Please note It remains the student's responsibility to purchase ALL required textbooks for the 4-year program. The cost of required textbooks is not included on your tuition bill, however it is included in the Financial Aid budget for all students. Please refer to the separate pages below for textbook titles by Year.

The University Bookstore is located on the North Campus near the Commons (directions). They can help you with books you wish to purchase in any format, electronic or hardcopy and condition (new or used).

  1. Clinical Resources (UB Libraries):- contains databases and links to other electronic resources, textbooks and references specific for the medical/health science community at UB./supplemental material on reserve at their discretion.

Below is the list of required textbooks for the predoctoral program listed for the 2016 - 2017 academic year. *Free eBook means that this textbook title is available through Clinical Key, a free resource provided through the Hospital and University at Buffalo Hospital Resource Network (HUBNET) and may be accessed via the Health Sciences Library (HSL). You may begin accessing Clinical Key anytime after you activate your UBIT information if you wish to become familiar with it. You will receive more information on how to use Clinical Key during orientation week. Inquiries prior to orientation week about Clinical Key may be made directly to HUBNET
(technical/login issues), or to our Dental School librarian, Liz Stellrecht for questions about how to navigate or access titles once in Clinical Key.
